QUATIN® is a cationic inulin polymer which is primarily used to neutralize negative charges and to deposit various types of actives onto a surface. The combination of the natural polymer backbone with a cationic charge makes it a greener alternative to traditional fossil based chemicals (polyquaterniums). QUATIN® complies with the trend towards more natural and sustainable ingredients.
QUATIN® is supplied as a concentrated aqueous solution and is very convenient to work with. Its supply form and compatibility with a wide range of surfactants make it a distinctive product toward its competition. In laundry detergents, it has excellent softening and static reduction performances and shows to be an effective ingredient in 2-in-1 laundry detergents and fabric softeners. In automatic dishwasher detergents, QUATIN® is a novel ingredient which enhances spotless drying of dishes. - Formulas
