Velsan® Flex is a preservative booster that can help to ensure proper antimicrobial protection of a broad range of cosmetic formulations while reducing the concentration of traditional preservatives, such as benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, or phenoxyethanol, by up to 50%.
Velsan® Flex is an EcoTain labeled, COSMOS approved, naturally derived ingredient with a renewable carbon index (RCI) of 93%. It is both cost-effective and multi-functional, with high preservation boosting power, and it is compatible with typical preservatives such as benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, and phenoxyethanol. Velsan® Flex is any easy to use, pre-neutralized 70% aqueous solution that is stable over a broad pH range (3.5-9) with excellent water solubility. - Formulas
