2016 Essential Ingredients celebrates its 20 year anniversary.
  SE Tylose expands the distribution territory with Essential Ingredients. Essential Ingredients is now responsible for the entire United States.
  Kerry, Inc. selects Essential Ingredients to distribute its personal care products across the United States.
  Essential Ingredients's distribution territory for DuPont GENENCARE® Ingredients, expands to include the West Coast. Essential Ingredients is now responsible for the entire United States.
  Bontoux selects Essential Ingredients as the exclusive national distributor for the United States.
  Stephen Smith joins the Essential Ingredients Board of Directors.
2015 Essential Ingredients was selected by DuPont to distribute and sell their GENENCARE® Natural Active Ingredients for the personal care industry. Essential Ingredients will be responsible for U.S. customers east of the Rocky Mountains.
  Lubrizol selected Essential Ingredients to represent the Active Organics® platform including its broad range of botanical extracts. Essential Ingredients will be the exclusive distributor for customers east of the Rocky Mountains.
  Skip Paterson and Kirk Hancock join the Essential Ingredients Board of Directors.
2014 Essential Ingredients is chosen by AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry to distribute and sell its personal care products and technologies. Under the agreement, Essential Ingredients will be the authorized distributor for U.S. customers east of the Rocky Mountains, with the exception of Texas.
  SE Tylose USA selects Essential Ingredients as distribution partner to represent the Tylose® line of cellulose ethers used in personal care and HI&I market segments. Essential Ingredients will be responsible for U.S. customers east of the Rocky Mountains.
  Essential Ingredients to distribute and sell the Nisso HPC product line for the personal care industry to U.S. customers.
2013 Larry Sievers joins the Essential Ingredients Board of Directors.
2012 Lubrizol expands the distribution agreement with Essential Ingredients to include the Carbopol® line the Northeastern United States.
  Essential Ingredients now offers Elementis products in the Midwestern United States.
2011 DuPont, Tate & Lyle Bio Products expands Essential Ingredients' territory to include the Midwestern United States.

2010 Elementis acquires the assets of the Fanning Corporation and expands Essential Ingredients' product offerings.
2009 Momentive Performance Materials selects Essential Ingredients as an Authorized Distributor.
  Lubrizol expands its relationship with Essential Ingredients by selecting the firm to represent their surfactant line in the Northeast.

2007 The U.S. southwest becomes Essential Ingredient's latest geographic expansion.
  Dupont, Tate & Lyle introduces their Zemea® Propanediol product and selects Essential Ingredients to represent the line.
  Curoxyl®BP 42 USP is introduced by Essential Ingredients as a unique, flowable Benzoyl Peroxide product.
2006 Essential Ingredients celebrates 10 year anniversary.
2005 Lubrizol selects Essential Ingredients to represent its Carbopol® product line.
  Essential Ingredients begins distributing for Aloecorp.
2004 The firm expands its Atlanta area warehouse to 25,000 sq.ft.
  Essential Ingredients expands geographically into the Northeastern United States.
  The Vitacon® concept is pioneered by Essential Ingredients resulting in custom vitamin blends.
2003 Unique in the distribution industry, Essential Ingredients hires its own Technical Director to assist customers with formulation and other technical needs.
  The Eixtractives® product line is introduced by Essential Ingredients.
2002 Essential Ingredients expands its Atlanta area facility once again.
2000 Outgrowing its Atlanta area facility, Essential Ingredients moves to a larger building.
1999 Essential Ingredients begins representing Vitech's unique line of HI&I products.
  A Board of Directors is formed for Essential Ingredients, including external board members Perry Sells and Dick Wright.
  Medallion International selects Essential Ingredients as a distributor.
1998 Essential Ingredients moves to a suburb of Atlanta to serve its growing customer base.
  Dick Wright joins the Essential Ingredients Board of Directors.
1997 Mike Crum joins Essential Ingredients as a Co-owner of the firm.
  Essential Ingredients begins representing Lubrizol (formerly Chemron) surfactants.
1996 Essential Ingredients is founded in Augusta, Georgia by Chris Gerlach and Kris Maynard. The vision of the company was, and continues to be, a chemical distributor that is considered a partner and critical resource for customers providing not only raw materials, but creative problem solving and expertise as well.
